Ward's procedure

A variance method of hierarchical clustering that combines the two clusters with the smallest increase in the overall sum of squares within-cluster distances at each stage.

Weighting

A statistical adjustment to the data in which each case or respondent in the database is assigned a weight to reflect its importance relative to other cases or respondents.
