Close Up Foundation

Close Up's mission is built on the belief that textbooks and
lectures alone are not enough to help students understand
the process of democracy and make it work. Students need a
"close up" experience in government. Close Up's
national, state, and local experiential government studies
programmes strengthen participants' knowledge of how the political
process works, increase their awareness of major national
and international issues, and motivate them to become actively
involved in the world around them.

Generations United provides information about intergenerational
initiatives around the country (both Learn and Serve and other
types of programs). Generations United co-ordinates information
for over 130 intergenerational efforts.
International
Partnership for Service-Learning

The International Partnership for Service-Learning is an incorporated
non-profit organisation serving colleges, universities, service
agencies and related organisations around the world by fostering
programs that link community service and academic study.
IPS-L also organises conferences on the development of S-L,
promotes the principal and practice of S-L by encouraging
partnership relationships, and publishes materials related
to S-L. Their website contains information about their programmes.

Service Resource Centre

The National Service Resource Centre (NSRC) is a training
and technical assistance provider to programs funded by the
Corporation for National Service. This website contains a
resource library, a master calendar, resource guides, online
documents, sample forms collection, newsletters, and America
Reads resources.

The Points of Light Institute meets the practical learning
needs of individuals and organisations that seek to engage

National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre is the national
coordinating body to promote and develop volunteerism and
philanthropy in Singapore. Their CIP Kit is a one-stop resource
database of ideas and information on volunteering and possible
community projects for use in schools.
