The Youth Research Fund (YRF) is administered by National Youth Council (NYC), the national co-ordinating body for youth affairs in Singapore. The YRF has been supporting issue-specific studies concerning youth that not only help us understand and stay connected with the youth, but also advance our aim of nurturing World-Ready-Youth and building a vibrant youth sector.

Through the YRF we hope to encourage individual researchers, especially youths doing their Project work, independent study, honours thesis or post-graduate dissertation to delve deeper into youth issues of the day.
Grant amounts vary depending on the scale of the research project and may range from $500 to $8,000 for each project lasting one year. Selected projects may be published in NYC's journal, "YouthSCOPE" which would be circulated to government ministries, youth organisations, educational institutions, social service organisations and other relevant agencies.
