Impact, IRL – 31 October 2026
Impact, IRL is a one-day event that brings youth action to life. Co-organised by the National Youth Council (NYC) and the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), it unites youths, community organisations, government agencies, and private and philanthropic partners to spark and power youth-led change in Singapore.
Whether you have a project idea you are ready to act on, or are simply looking for inspiration to get started, Impact, IRL is designed to meet you where you are. Through a series of interactive activities, context-setting sessions, and networking opportunities, you will have the chance to deepen your understanding of issues that matter to Singapore, connect with like-minded changemakers, and explore the resources and support available to help you take action.

Action Marketplace: Your one-stop floor to discover real-world challenges, connect with ecosystem partners, and see youth-led projects in action.
Action Jam: Got a cause you care about? Brainstorm solutions to real-world challenge statements
and walk away with a spark of idea or a project that you’re ready to take action on.
Consult Clinic: Get focused, one-on-one guidance from experienced consultants and NYC Partnership Officers on your project idea or grant application.
Themed Cafés: Find your people at our three themed cafés. Discover potential collaborators, pause and recharge with a mentor, or forge new partnerships over a good conversation.
Context Setting Sessions: Dive deep into the issues that matter most across four thematic areas. Get up close with real-world challenge statements and leave fired up to take action.
Funding Opportunities: Apply for the Microgrant on-site, catch the pitches for Youth Action Grant, and cast your vote through our Participatory Budgeting exercise to help decide additional funding for project teams!
Groundup Exchange: Bringing groundups together, unlocking new opportunities for community impact. Connect with fellow changemakers, discover inspiring collaboration, and turn bold ideas into action—because the best impact starts when we come together.
Panel - Doing Good: The Part Nobody Talks About: Join BioGirl MJ (Co-Founder, justkeepthinking), Edwin (Co-Founder, Birds of Paradise), and Nicole (Corporate Resources Director, Impart) for an honest conversation about their challenges and what keeps them going when things don't go to plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend Impact, IRL?
Impact, IRL is open to public, with activities catered for youths aged 15 to 35 who are passionate about creating change in Singapore. Registration is required to enter the event, and it is free!
Do I need to pre-register for activities?
Pre-registration for some activities such as the Context Setting Sessions and Workshop will be required. More information about these activities will be shared soon.
