Action Area: Youth Social Connectedness
Real connection goes beyond social media likes and follows. It's about belonging, support and relationships that matter. If you want to bring people closer together, this Action Area’s for you.

About the Youth Social Connectedness Action Area
The Youth Social Connectedness thematic area delves into the quality and depth of relationships that young people have with their peers, families, communities, and broader society. This encompasses whether youths feel a genuine sense of belonging, mutual support, and meaningful connection, and how factors like mental health, academics, and the rise of digital interaction can either strengthen or erode those ties. Building and nurturing these relationships helps youths develop strong social and emotional skills which are essential for them to thrive in different aspects of their lives.
