Background

YCM is a by youth for youth programme that empowers youth curators in the grant making process and support other youths to take action to benefit the Singapore community and society.

The YCM offers a myriad of benefits:
- YCM grant of up to $3,000 or $5,000 to kick-start your project
- Perspectives and resources to value-add to your project
- Networking opportunities with diverse groups of youths

Project Application

Get ready your SingPass account and login to OurSG Grants Portal to submit your YCM grant applications! Do remember to send in your application at least 8 weeks ahead of the 1st Saturday of project implementation month.

YCM x SG Youth Forum Grant Call

A special YCM x SG Youth Forum grant call is ongoing between 30 Jun 2025 to 27 Jul 2025, where you can submit your project ideas to be considered for participation in the SG Youth Forum. Selected teams can share your idea with the public through a participatory budgeting exercise and stand a chance to receive up to $10,000 for project implementation!

Project and eligibility criteria follow those of YCM grant. However, to qualify for the YCM x SG Youth Forum grant call, project implementation should only commence from 1 Oct 2025 onwards. For more information, please refer to factsheet here. Interested and eligible applicants can apply via the YCM grant on the OurSG Grants Portal.

YCM – Youth Heritage Kickstarter Fund (YCM – YHKF)

As part of Our SG Heritage Plan 2.0, the National Heritage Board (NHB) has partnered NYC YCM grant to provide additional funding and resources to empower youths to take an active role in preserving and safeguarding Singapore’s heritage.

If you wish to promote the appreciation and understanding of Singapore’s heritage, you may be funded up to $5,000 or $7,000 to kickstart your project!

YCM - YouthCreates (Sport)

The Young ChangeMakers - YouthCreates (Sport) grant, jointly offered by the NYC YCM and SportSG YouthCreates, can help bring your ideas to life! Projects that reach out and engage the community through sporting or physical activities could receive funding of up to $6,000 or $8,000. Ready to make a difference to the community through sports?
