Youth Engagement

The Youth Engagement team within NYC oversees programmes aimed at offering youths a safe space to voice their views, learn about different perspectives, and discuss concerns while sharing aspirations with their peers, civil society, and the Government.

Our Programmes

Through a series of offline and online engagements, youths are brought together from different backgrounds to hear from one another. By cultivating an openness to diverse views with a culture of understanding and consensus building, youth engagements set the motion for youths to play an important role in building a caring and cohesive Singapore.

Budget

Climate Youth Development Programme

The Climate Youth Development Programme (CYDP) aims to bring together youth aged 18 – 35 who are passionate about addressing environmental sustainability and climate change issues in Singapore.

Inter-University Network (IUN)

The IUN dialogues allow student unions across five autonomous universities in Singapore to connect with the Government to discuss national-level issues and co-create policies.

Kopi Sessions

These sessions allow youths from NYC communities (Holler!, INSPIRIT, YCS etc) to engage with like-minded peers and share their views on issues that matter to them.
