Budget speeches are long and complicated at times, but it is an important statement that affects every Singaporean, youths included. Beyond the GST or CDC vouchers, the announcements delivered by our Finance Minister conveys Singapore’s national priorities, and how limited resources will be allocated. Helping our youths grasp the nature of Budget speeches and what influences the announcements and decisions made, will provide them with a glimpse into how the Budget will impact their lives. More importantly, it will prepare them to navigate changes and seize opportunities as they plan their futures.
